a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble

“Never catch the sun before it goes down”

They burned his mom, his papa, his brother, his sister. “They burned everything….”

This young man from the DRC found love in the form of a Somali mother in the Kakuma Refugee camp in Kenya, who took him under her wing–adopted him–the very first day she met him and heard his story. God sets the solitary in families.

“Father of orphans, 
      champion of widows, 
         is God in his holy house. 
   God makes homes for the homeless…” ~ Psalm 68:6
