Last month I attended a women’s conference at Word of Life church in Red Deer called “One in A Million: Extravagant”. I look forward to this conference every year not only for the good girly time & God time, but also for the main giving opportunity: The Compassionate Project.

Grab yourself a box of Kleenex and take a look at what Home of Hope is doing and how you can be a part….

If you strongly feel like doing something, but cannot commit to a full sponsorship, may I suggest putting together a “care package” for an orphan. Go on a Walmart shopping spree and fill your cart with lovely little things that will all fit in a large ziploc bag. You may never know what impact your extravagant gift will have on a little girl or boy living in poverty.
